The Rampart Track and Field Team has been exciting during this very short season. At the first varsity meet, the Rampart Boys' Team took 2nd place and the Rampart Girls' Team took 3rd place at the Palmer Terror Invitational. At the Ponderosa Frosh/Soph Invitational, the boys took 6th place and the girls took 13th place. After, the boys took 3rd place and the girls took 11th place at the Broomfield Shootout. Ben C. recorded a new 3200m school record, beating the previous record by 16 seconds. More recently, the boys took 1st place and the girls took 3rd place at the Columbine Invitational. Many athletes have recorded new personal records and have established Rampart as a strong track and field team. Congratulations to those who competed. We cannot wait to see you in the final meets of the season!
